VOIP from Spain | VOIP Spain Blog – VOIP | VOIP Spain Blog

This may be of no use whatsoever to anyone but….I recently re-located to Spain. Having had a broadband connection for as long as it was possible in Ireland I was determined that I wasn’t going to be too long without one in Spain. Also as I was a convert to VOIP using a Sipura 2002 ATA I was anxious to hook everything up to keep in contact with friends and family etc etc. I opted for ADSL supplied by Telefonica A 3MB package. I initially tried my Sipura but I couldn’t get it to work – then mysteriously it DID -then equally mysteriously it didn’t. The solution: the ZyXEL Router they supplied has a built-in ATA. It’s a ZyXEL Prestige 2602 HWL-61C. I’ve paid my €10 to POIVY and I’m connected!
